Vanilla leaf

If this is Vanilla leaf...

When dried the plants smell of vanilla. The dried leaves can be used as a tent air freshener or as an insect repellent.

The dried leaves can be hung in bunches in doorways to ward off flies and mosquitoes. The dried (or even fresh leaves on) can be rubbed on exposed skin to keep mosquitos off.
